Today we got a late start, and I had no time to sit down for breakfast. On mornings like this, I like to take my breakfast to go in the form of a caramel tea latte!
Start with two mugs and put the kettle on. in one mug, 1 Tbsp of tea leaves or one tea bag (I use David's tea salted caramel black tea). in the other mug 1 Tbsp of coconut oil.
meanwhile in your blender put one cup of almond milk, one scoop of protein powder, a splash of extract (I chose caramel), one doonk of stevia (1/32 of a tsp) and a pinch of salt. pour one cup of boiling water into each mug and let the tea brew nice and strong.
strain the tea into your blender and blend briefly.
with the blender on its lowest setting, slowly pour in the hot coconut oil water. this will emulsify into frothy deliciousness.
pour into two mugs to share with a friend or into a quart sized mason jar for a filling breakfast on the go. cheers to a busy day!
